Pause. Smile. Share. Modern lifestyle ceramics bringing a touch of joy into daily rituals. Beauty in small moments.
Maia Ming studied Product Design at Stanford University and worked as a designer and Art Director for many years. Her passion for making ceramics developed over the years from a personal sideline into a full time business. The pieces in her collection are often inspired by Asian and Scandinavian aesthetics and traditions, transformed into contemporary and tactile designs. Maia’s ceramics are also meant to add a touch of joy and whimsy into daily moments.
Tea is an important ritual in Asia, and taking a moment to pause, reflect, and enjoy a cup of tea is a small luxury we can afford ourselves.
“We also continue to give a portion of sales to WWF to protect these magnificent mammals.”
The Eva tea set, named after the ceramic pioneer, Eva Ziesel, follows her philosophy that objects should attract the hand as well as the eye. We have adopted this philosophy for all of our products.
The “Save the Whales” banks were inspired by Maia’s son when he saved and donated money to the World Wildlife Fund to help protect whales. A gift with a purpose, we hope to inspire other children to save. We also continue to give a portion of sales to WWF to protect these magnificent mammals.
